Where did you teach before coming to Dr Probe?

I was at Picture Butte High School for 2 years, then I went to Dr 
Probe Elementary School, where I taught a grade 4/5 class for a 
maternity leave.  The following year I filled in another 
maternity leave at Senator Buchanan School, in a grade 4 class.  
In 2006, I made the move to General Stewart, where I taught grade 
5. The opportunity to return to Dr Probe arose in 2009, and I 
was thrilled to accept.

Why the web site?

There are a few reasons why I like to maintain a web page.  
Foremost among these is that I wish for parents to be kept 
abreast of their child's education.  It is good that parents are 
aware of our position in the curriculum, and what type of 
activities that the class is involved in.  
Students can also check the site to ensure that they know their 
spelling words, what assignments are soon due, and what special 
events are upcoming.  
I also want for parents and students to be able to contact myself 
outside of school hours.

Will all grade 4 classes be doing the same assignments?

While several assignments will be identical for all three 
classes, some will be unique to our students. As curriculum 
changes, so do outcomes, expectations, and assignments. 
Activities will differ by class, as each teacher presents 
curriculum in their own, unique style.
