In order to effectively cover all of our Alberta Learning Outcomes, and to
help to instill a good work ethic in the students to help with their
educational success, I assign homework on a weekly basis. This homework
needs to be completed if the students expect to have success in keeping up
with the class. Parents, I would like to thank you for your support in this
regard.
Our Homework is as follows:
Every Monday, students will receive their spelling lists and
assignment (Grey Duotang). Weekly spelling assignments are due on
Thursday. Quizzes are each Friday. We reserve 3 periods (1.5 hours) per week
to complete spelling activities in class.
Word list February 13 - 17:
ROCK and ROLL: cleaner, cleanest, bigger, biggest, earlier, earliest,
quicker, quickest, busier, busiest, rougher, roughest, heavier, heaviest,
happier, happiest, lazier, laziest.
BONUS - STRONGER, STRONGEST.
At Probe, we recommend reading with your family for 20 - 25 minutes each day.
I try not to give out homework on the weekends, but will do so if need
be.
