Hi Parents,
It is hard to believe, but there are only 30 school days left till the end of the year!!
We have all settled back into routine and the classroom behavior has levelled out. We are working to
finish the curriculum in each subject and they are all working very hard.
In Math:
Grade 1s are working on geometry, 2D and 3D shapes.
Grade 3 and 4 are working on multiplication.
In L.A.:
We have all been working on proper sentences, grammar, phonics, and story writing. They have all
completed their circle stories based on the book It's Not Easy Being A Bunny. They are posted on the
bulletin board outside the classroom.
In Social Skills:
We are working on Impulse control and Habit #6: Synergize~ working together. We have been looking at
insects and the ways they work together to Synergize (tying in the Science curriculum).
All students are allowed to bring in an MP3 player to help them concentrate during independent work
times as well as chew gum if they bring it from home and it is sugarless. Please feel free to send these
items in if your child expresses an interest in using them.
