Is it fine if we come to eat lunch with our child?

We would love to have you eat with us!  Please send a note with 
your child to let me know you are coming and I will order a lunch 
for you.
Please allow a three weeks adjustment period from the beginning 
of school before coming to each lunch with your child.

What are the cost of lunches?

Student lunches are $1.80 a day.  Adult/visitor lunches are $4.00.

When do I drop off and pick up my child?

Students may begin being dropped off in the front breezeway at 
7:30.  They will be watched by school staff until they are 
brought to the classroom at 7:45.
We will leave our classroom at 2:35 to begin afternoon pick up 
under the front breezeway.  We suggest that Kindergarten parents 
come earlier than that to get a place in line so that you don't 
get caught in the first grade traffic.
Children who are not picked up by 2:50 will be brought in and 
will wait in the hallway by the library.

Can my child celebrate their birthday with the Cow class?

We always try to accommodate special treats for special 
occasions!  *Please let me know ahead of time and we will 
coordinate a time for you to bring a birthday treat.  The 
children like any type of cupcake or cookie (the easier 
to pass out individually, the better!) but please no soft 
drinks.  If you wish to provide a drink, Capri Suns or fruit 
juice boxes are perfectly fine.  Also, I request for children's 
safety that all items brought in be purchased rather than 
homemade.

May I send party invitations for my child's (off campus) party?

Parents may send invitations to invite children to a birthday 
party or other events outside of school,  only if you are 
inviting EVERY CHILD in our class. We do not want any child to 
feel left out or have his/her feelings hurt.

When is the best time to conference with you?

I will be glad to conference with you at any time during the 
school year. If you need to speak with me, please send a 
note and we can schedule a day and time to discuss your concerns.
