| We have Math homework (Monday-Thursday) on the B side of the Math Sheet.
Spelling begins end of October or first of November . Listed below are the
homework assignments for each night.
Monday: Choose 5 words and write 5 good sentences using a capital letter
and an end mark in each sentence.
Tuesday: Write each word four times each.
Wednesday: ABC order. The words to put in ABC order are on the Spelling List
in the CCPS folder.
Thursday: Take a practice spelling test with your child in the spelling
homework notebook, and write any word missed 3 times each.
Friday: Spelling Test! Good Luck!
Please read with your child everynight. This is the most important thing you
can do as a parent to help your child. I will send home your child's yellow
reader for him/her to read each night and the book he/she reads in small
group. If you have other books at home that your child enjoys reading please
add these to the list. Please fill out the reading log and add total pages
read in the colum provided. Thanks for your help
To help your child study for Picture Sounds Tests and Dictation Tests you
can review the sounds and motions for each digraph and vowel digraph taught.
Please read your word wall words everynight.
