Mrs. Sykes

My name is Ashley Sykes. I have been teaching kindergarten for 21 years. It is an honor and privilege to help build the foundation for children and establish a curiosity for lifelong learning.
My philosophy is "If you give a man a fish you feed him for a day. If you TEACH a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime."
I am so thankful that you have trusted me with your most precious treasure---your child. We will have so much fun learning and growing together this year.
I have been married to my amazing husband Scott for 19 years and we have two children that I like to call my pride and joy. Hannah is 14 and currently a freshman at the Central Freshman Academy. Tyler is 5 and has that late birthday so he was unable to begin kindergarten this year.....yay for me because he is growing up too fast.......sad for my husband who would love to stop paying daycare! Both of my children keep me busy with cheerleading and sports. I do love to travel and read and I LOVE Auburn football!
