I graduated from Troy University in 2008, and at the moment I am diligently
working on my Master's degree. This is my third year teaching 2nd grade at
Lakewood. I attended the Phenix City School System throughout my entire
school career. Many teachers in the system have shaped who I am today. I feel
blessed to be able to give back through the school system that has given me
so much. I love teaching. It gives me great joy. I believe that all children
are teachable and reachable.
I have been happily married for 4 years to my very best friend. I love to
play softball, shop, and paint. I love the Auburn Tigers. I love anything
that is monogrammed, and my favorite color is purple. I also love animal
prints and paisley prints. I probably should have been Italian because I LOVE
Italian food!
