Terrific Kids Citizenship Program
We are in our 17th year to recognize our students who exhibit good
citizenship. This program was developed to recognize students who
were "doing the right thing."
The selection process takes place at the end of each grading period. Two
students from each homeroom will be selected for each grading period. (8
students from each homeroom will be selected during the school year)
Students must exhibit good citizenship throughout the school. The homeroom
teacher will nominate 4 students and 2 will be selected by faculty and staff
who sees their behavior throughout the day. (Example: library, office,
halls, gym, and lunchroom)
Each student has the opportunity to be selected during the three years that
they attend Moody Middle School.
Character Education
Our character education is based in a program called Project Wisdom. Each
morning we begin our day with the Pledge of Alliegence, a Moment of
Reflection, "words of wisdom", and announcements for the day.
