Classroom Management PlanMrs. Cantrell's Management Plan 2008-2009
Classroom Rules: 1. Listen very carefully. 2. Follow directions the first time they are given. 3. Work quietly and do not disturb others who are working. 4. Raise your hand and get permission before leaving your seat. 5. Respect others, your school, and personal property. 6. Turn in all class work and homework on time.
Consequences and Rewards: Positive Praise and feedback Positive note home or phone call Stickers Extra center and/or computer time Item from the treasure chest Special Helper to the Teacher
Negative First time: student will receive one warning Second time: color card is moved from green to yellow Third time: color card is moved from yellow to red (silent lunch) Fourth time: note and/or a phone call home to parents
Note: If students color card has been on red 2 or more times in a week, they can not participate in Choice Time on Fridays. They will spend time at their desk writing me a note about how they will change their behavior and do better the next week. They will also have to do extra work that will be selected by me. No exceptions!!!
Severe disruptions and disrespectfulness will result in student being written up and sent to the office immediately. Conduct Report Form will be sent home daily. I will use this form to communicate with parents daily. Please check your child's B.E.E. Folder everyday. Failing to get conduct report sign 2 or more times in a week will results in students having to move their color card to red. Remember 2 or more reds in a week, no choice time. No exceptions!!!!
B.E.E. Folder Motivator-----Students who bring their B.E.E. Folder back to school everyday signed will receive a sticker on their incentive chart. On Fridays, they will receive a treat from the treasure chest, or extra computer time. If our class has 100% we will add a sticker to our class incentive chart that will result in the class having a special treat approved by our principal (Ms. Curry).
