Excuses:
Students will only be excused from participation with a WRITTEN excuse
FROM A PARENT.
Parent notes will excuse a student for two days. After this time, a
doctor's excuse will be required.
Any student who is not participating due to illness and a parent note,
will still travel where ever we go for PE that day. Students will not be
allowed to "sit inside" while the rest of the class goes outside for
activities that day. That would be unsafe since no one would be inside to
supervise your child. Thank you for understanding.
Often times when the weather permits, we will hold PE classes outside,
especially in the Fall and Spring. Please consider this when dressing your
child for school.
Tennis Shoes are a MUST for your child to safely participate in Physical
Education. Coming to class without tennis shoes means your child cannot learn
or participate in the skills and activities for the day. Please help us by
making sure tennis shoes are worn to class every day.
Students who do not wear tennis shoes to class will still be required to
participate. However, they will participate in alternate activities. This may
include activities such as walking the line in the gym.
