PES Sponsors “Read-In”

Thirty-six students at Prattville Elementary School have been involved in a special after school tutorial program in Math since early February.  Eight teachers work two days a week after school to help these “at-risk” students to strengthen weak academic areas in preparation for achievement testing and the Alabama Reading and Math Test.

It is hoped that by giving these children a little extra help in their weak academic areas, they will stand a greater chance of success on the SAT-10 and the ARMT.

Special thanks to those teachers and administrators assisting in the project.
