AP Biology Course Descption
AP Biology is equivalent to the first year of college biology. It is open
to good students who have completed Chemistry and are prepared for the
demands of a college level class. Upon completion of the class, the student
should be able to pass the AP exam, which is highly recommended but not
required, and may be granted college credit by many colleges for the course.
We encourage students who love biology and are looking for a challenging and
different class to try AP Biology. You do not have to plan on a science
major to be succesful in this class -- you just need to work hard!
