Reflection Class EDUT 6117

This course taught me a lot of important information about the needs in a media center.  I learned the different types of media such as e-books, periodicals, research, and books.  I learned about the need or lack of necessity of certain items in different libraries.  I learned a lot when designing a media center.  The budget that most librarians have to work with is very small and they must be very “creative”.

This course required me to move out of my comfort zone, into an unfamiliar area.  I spoke with local librarians in my city, and with librarians within my school system.  I learned that there is a vast difference between the two.

  Spring Semester 2008 EDUT

This semester, during the course I learned about the ID process, and how different programs are selected for utilization within a school system. I learned about using hypermedia to create a presentation, which I would love to learn more about and have time to create a more involved presentation. I learned about the different instruction design models and how each is useful for certain situations.
