About The Coach: Mrs. Frankie Ball

This will be Mrs. Frankie Ball second year as the coach of the Farmington
Varsity Dance Team. Coach Ball is truly excited about the 2011-2012 dance
team. The 2011-2012 school year will bring several new dances, leaps and
bounds of spirit, and many showcase features of new techniques to the
Farmington School District.

Coach Ball has several years of experience in the dance and
cheer field and will be bringing new techniques and the latest choreography
skills to Farmington High School. Coach Ball has been an active member of the
Farmington School system for a number of years. Before coming to Farmington,
she was a teacher and a coach for the Springdale schools. Coach Ball treats
every member with respect, kindness, and support, and expects those qualities
from her team members. She stresses positive attitudes, strong educational
learning, and upstanding community role model behavior in her dance team.
Each member of her team is regarded as one of her own children.

Goals of the Program

The Farmington High School Dance Team encourages positive school spirit. The
Cardinal Dance Team practices frequently during the week to learn new material
for their upcoming performances. They attend all home games and perform during
half-time. In order to be a member of this accomplished squad, as a
member, you must uphold a positive outlook, work hard, treat others with
respect, be kind to one another, and be an upstanding role model not only at
school but in the community as well. The motto for 2011-2012: "Ginger Rogers
did everything Fred Astaire did, but she did it backwards and in high heels."
