Welcome to Lakeside Middle School. I am excited about seeing the eager
faces of the 750 students of L.M.S. We have experienced a lot of growth this
year. I am looking forward to getting to know our new students and catching
up with returning students. This summer we have been getting ready for the
students to return. We worked on hiring new staff, getting supplies and
texts ready for students, and cleaning the building. We are just about
finished with our outdoor classroom that is on the back side of the building.
We are extremely pleased with our Benchmark test scores. Our school did very
well with our sub-population of students with individual education plans. We
are proud of the hard work that our students and parents put forth to achieve
these scores. Also, I am very proud of the work ethic of the staff in
educating our children. We also had a group of parent volunteers who worked
dilgently with students to help improve test scores.
