Method:

·        Read “Before You Read” (p. 154) information and discuss a passage of time

·        Students record Words to Own (vocabulary) from text.

·        Students read about Diedrich Knickerbachen and summarize in a paragraph (p. 154)

·        Students read about “Enchanted Slumbers” (p. 162) and summarize.

·        Journal: What is an event or situation that you would like to sleep through? Why?

** Turn in essays about The Crucible.
