Mr. Nesheim has a bachelors degree in accounting, and a masters degree in
education. He has taught Business the last two years at Apache Junction High
School. Prior to his teaching career, Mr. Nesheim had corporate positions of
Assistant Controller, Controller, Lead Consultant, President of several of
his own companies, and Vice President of Product Management for the second
largest transaction processor. Mr. Nesheim is married with six children,
three in high school, two graduated. Mr. Nesheim's wife teaches second grade
at a local school. His interests include bible study, hiking, chess, ping
pong, and all other sports.
Students will learn the basics of business management and will learn that
business drives the economy to success or failure. Students will learn the
concepts, pitfalls, and work necessary for a business to operate in the
current and future economic environment. Students will have real world
examples and develop business plans to create real business models that will
produce products or services to a targeted market or populace. Students will
learn by both succeeding and failing. Many times the lessons from failing
are more valuable than continuing in success. Students will work in teams
and develop the understanding and experiences within a business organization.
