Jan 5-9
Monday: Quiz type review of previous semester work by students asking each
other questions.
Tuesday: Discuss Chapter objective page 109. Student volunteers take parts
to do novela pages 110-111. Class does activites page 112 asking questions
about novela.
Wednesday: Chapter 4 film on novela. Introduction of verb conjugation
worksheet 2 pages. Student write out words on page 135 primer paso columns 1
and 2. Lecture and demonstation of use of words
Thursday: Students write out column 3 of primer paso words. Lecture and
demonstration of use of words. Review of verb conjugations. Homework
student to conjugate page 1 of 2 of the verb worksheet.
Friday: Destinos a college course film in Spanish. Chapter 10 watch, listen
and discuss.
Jan 12-16.
Monday: Review of first 12 verb conjugations. Practice heavily in class.
Homework write out 12 verbs for second time. Quiz will be on Wednesday on
the 12 verbs. Introduction to Asi se dice page 113 and vocabulary. Practice
combinations of gusta. New vocabulary on page 113 all (AR) verbs.
Tuesday: Lecture and discuss page 114 (Asi se dice) What you and your
friends do during free time. Homework conjugate 12 verbs for the third time.
Wednesday: Verb quiz. Write out exercise 9 on page 115.
Thursday: Primer paso study guide fill in discus phrases again. Homework:
Tranlate sentence sheet.
Friday Estinos a college course film Spanish Chapter 11 watch, listen and
discuss
Jan 19-23
Monday: No school civil rights day.
Tuesday: Demonstation of irregular verbs and grammatical worksheet.
Wednesday: Lesson on cognates or word that are spelled and sound similar in
both Spanish and English.
Thursday: Continuation of grammatica worksheet. Prep for quiz on friday.
Friday: Quiz on Primer Paso of Chapter 4. Destinos Chapter 13 after
quiz.
Jan 26-30
Monday: Review for quiz of Primer Paso tuesday. Rew of verbs introduced on
friday.
Tueday: Quiz and Introduction of where people and places are.
Wednesday: Lecture and location practice of verb estar
Thursday: New voculary page 119. Demonstation of far, near, etc.
Friday: Subject pronoun demonstation

irregular verbs. Finish segundo paso in book.
