Daily Procedures
•Be in your seat and prepared BEFORE the bell stops ringing.
•While attendance is being taken, read the daily objectives and complete the
mindset posted on the board and have your homework out and on your desk. This
is part of your participation grade.
•Use the restroom and visit the nurse during your break, not during my class!
•Ask for help by raising your hand or asking the person sitting next to you
if you are unclear on an instruction-- do not be un-productive!
Assignments
•Only finished work will be accepted-- all or nothing.
•Papers without names will be thrown away.
•Homework answers will be on the overhead or reviewed in class. You are
expected to correct every problem. If homework was not completed prior to

preparing for quizzes and tests however, you will not receive credit.
Class missed due to Excused Absences, ICR or Sweeps
•Ask me before or after class, after school, or via e-mail for make up
assignments- do not ask me during class time.
•Make up tests & quizzes are given on Thurdays before school. If Thursdays
do not work for you, it is your responsibility to schedule an alternate time.
•If you miss a quiz or test because you were in Sweep, ICR, or due to an

Learning a foreign language is fun and very beneficial! It is important that
you listen in class, practice, volunteer, and speak when asked. The only way
you will learn Spanish is through hard work and practice. You should spend
at least 15-20 minutes outside of class each day if you wish to truly excel
in Spanish. I want you to succeed in the class and I am available to
schedule a time to meet with you before school for tutoring.
I have read the classroom expectations and course information.
