Announcements

Students in Women's Honor Choir and Concert Choir wear formal, black
PERFORMANCE CLOTHING for their concerts. The women in both choirs have
ordered new clothing this year, but the men in Concert Choir will continue to
wear their old tuxedos. However, men who are new to Concert Choir this
semester (Fall 2007) needed to order tuxedos. The clothing for all women and
men new to Concert Choir has arrived and is currently being hemmed by two
volunteer parents. The cost of all clothing must be paid by November 28th.

FUNDRAISING opportunities have been available this fall to help students
purchase their performance clothing, starting with our Entertainment Book
sales which finished October 1st. (Parents, all books should be returned by
this time. If your book is in bad condition, please reimburse the school
$25.) Currently, we are selling cookie dough. Orders are due Monday,
November 19th and will be delivered the week of December 10th just in time
for Christmas. Please watch for further information sent home with your
choral student about other fundraising...working lunch cart, Subway work
day, etc.!

If you do not wish to participate in fundraisers, you may use the TAX CREDIT
donation to pay for student clothing. Please contact Mrs. Manuilow for more
information and/or paperwork - (480) 982-1110 X5318. And, of course, you may
simply pay for your student's performance clothing.

Parents, your attention to this financial responsiblity is appreciated
greatly!

CANTAREMOS STUDENTS (beginning mixed choir) are expected to wear all-black,
non-athletic clothing and dress shoes for performance. Women who wear skirts
or dresses must wear black hose. All clothing must be conform to student
handbook regulations. Long hair should be worn up and off the collar. This
is a formal concert, and students in the beginning ensemble should dress up.
If you are unsure what is acceptable, contact Mrs. Manuilow at (480) 982-1110
x5318 or simply have the student bring it to school for approval. Simple,
plain black clothing is all that is desired. Thank you, parents, for your
cooperation!
