This is my eighth year teaching at AJHS.
I have two children: Jordan, 23, and Ryan, 22.
My husband, Steve Coulter, also teaches English 10 at AJHS as well as the AP
English 12 class.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education/English from ASU.
I am currently working on my Master's Degree in Secondary Education/English
through NAU.
In my spare time, I like to read, work out, do home improvement projects,
travel, go to movies, get out into nature, hike, and spend time with family
and friends!
My number one priority in the 10th grade is to prepare my students to pass
the AIMS Reading and Writing Tests they take in February. My second
priority (and the one closest to my heart) is to share my love of literature
and language with my students. I see us not so much as "teacher"
and "students" but as collaborators and co-creators of a challenging and
rewarding, fulfilling and fun learning experience.
