When will we be dissecting something?
We will be dissecting at the end of second semseter (spring). Students who
do not wish to participate in dissections can opt for an alternate
assignment that will cover the same material. I only ask that students ask
for the alternate assignment at the beginning of the class period so they
have time to complete the alternate assignment. This assignment will be
collected at the same time as the lab write ups. We will NOT be dissecting
any animals that are still alive (vivisection) or any animals that students
bring to class. All specimens will be received from biological supply
companies and will be properly preserved.
