Motivating, encouraging, and enabling my students to embrace and enjoy a
well-rounded high school experience that prepares them for college studies and
life application is my goal as a teacher. The well-rounded high school
graduate should be armed with the lessons of history, equipped with an
academic skill-set, and inspired to grow and achieve. A well-rounded student
portfolio encompasses membership in student clubs and participation in team
sports, the performing arts, and service organizations. As a teacher I will
take joy in facilitating as many of these opportunities for my students as I
can, and I look forward to watching them as they learn and mature.
