Evelyn Schmidt has a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering
from the University of Florida and a master of arts degree in secondary
education from the University of Phoenix. She is a commercial pilot, flight
instructor, and retired FAA designated pilot examiner.
Mrs. Schmidt is married and has 3 children and 5 grandchildren. She enjoys
astronomy, camping, and hiking. This is her fourth year teaching in the
science department at Apache Junction High School.
