Class Rules and Grading

 Welcome Back!

Dear Parent/Guardian:

Let me take this opportunity to welcome everyone to another school year. My name is Mrs. Bahle and I teach English 11 and Enriched English 11. This is my eighth year at Apache Junction and I am looking forward to working with you and your child.

I am originally from Spartansburg, Pennsylvania and attended Edinboro University where I earned a bachelor's degree in English Literature. Eight years ago I packed up my husband and our dog and drove cross-country to pursue a career in teaching. I can't tell you how excited I am to be in Arizona serving as your child's teacher.

One of the key components to a successful school year is communication between parent and teacher. Throughout the year I will be corresponding with you about our progress in the classroom via letter or phone. It is my hope this letter will open the lines of communication and that you will feel comfortable contacting me with any questions or concerns you may have.

My goal this year is to provide an excellent learning environment in which your child can excel. With your cooperation, we can make this a very successful year.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Melissa Bahle
