Does my student have homework?

YES! Students are assigned homework Monday - Thursday nights and 
are required to read 20 minutes every night. They should also be
practicing math facts. Any work not completed in class may be
sent home as homework as well.

How long should my student spend on their homework?

Homework should not take more then 20-30 minutes each night (plus 
their 20minutes of reading and flash cards). If your student is
struggling with homework please send me a note or call me so we
are able to discuss the problem.

What happens if my student forgets their homework?

Stundets will be assigned study hall to complete their missing 
work.

What can I do if my student fails a test?

Please be sure to go over all test sent home. If your student did 
not perform well please go over their mistakes with them. You may
have them redo the problems they missed for more credit. Please
be sure to practice these concepts with your student and please
contact me with any questions, concerns, or requests for
additional practice work.

When are report cards sent home?

2008- 2009
1st Quater- At your conference in October
2nd Quater- January
3rd Quarter- After spering break
4th Quarter- May (Last Day if School)

These dates are set by the district and all elementary report
cards are sent
home the same day.
