Experience
This is my 8th year as a teacher in Sahuarita. I come from a long line of
educators, 14 teachers or administrators in my family currently, including
my mother. I have a passion for teaching new things and getting students
exciting about learning. I feel some of my strengths as an educator include
having an organized, structured, and well managed classroom as well as a
desire to open minds to new ideas and make learning fun.
I have been a part of many committees and programs in the district. Yearly I
attend various professional development trainings and conferences to stay as
up to date on new teaching practices as possible. I am SEI endorced and I
hold a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership as well as a Principal
Certificate.
Personal
I currently live on Tucson's Eastside with my husband and two dogs. I play
co-ed soccer and like to read or go shopping with my mom in my free time. I
enjoy family dinner on Sunday with my mom, dad, husband, and two younger
brothers. We are expeciting a baby boy in October this year.
Every student will grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
