We had such a wonderful week this week. We had a fun time making lots of Valentine’s Day stuff, continued reviewing letters and sounds and started a new math unit. Next week we will continue our money unit, celebrate Valentine’s Day and begin a FUN two week Rodeo unit.
Thank you again to the families that have offered to donate supplies for our cookie decorating and Valentine celebration. We owe all our fun to you! 
If you will be volunteering for our cookie decorating fun, please be here at 12:00 pm on Tuesday. The students have Specials at 12:30 so it will be quick and fun! We will also be having a pizza party for lunch. Sebastian’s mom is bringing in pizzas for the class!! 
We will have juice boxes for drinks. So your child doesn’t need to bring/purchase their lunch that day unless they don’t want pizza. Please let me know by Monday if they are purchasing lunch from the cafeteria.
Please don’t forget to bring in Valentine cards for each student no later than Tuesday February 14th. I have resent the class list. We do have a new student.
We are getting low on regular snacks again. If you could, any donations would be great! The students have a snack every morning at recess. I would hate for them to go without one. Please refer to the snack calendar.
Don’t forget that Monday February 13th we begin our Love of Reading Week. I have resent information on the events that will be happening.
Next week is a FREEBIE sharing week. The students can bring in anything they want to share. Please note: if it’s an expensive toy or item, they are responsible for the item.
I have also included a Scholastic Order for the month of February. It will be due on Monday February 20th. Please don’t forget to take advantage of ordering the books online. We get gift certificates for free books. You may also send in a check made payable to Scholastic Books, no cash please.
