My name is Rochelle O’Brien and I am your child’s Kindergarten
teacher. This is my fourth year teaching at Anza Trail, and I am thrilled to
be working at such a wonderful school. It is always such an incredible
pleasure to know that I am blessed with spending the year watching and
guiding young learners such as your child. The energy and enthusiasm that
five and six year olds have for learning about the world around them is
amazing and it is very fulfilling to see the "awe" on their faces as they
realize their own capabilities. I do believe that I have the most rewarding
job that one could ever hope to have.
As your child's Kindergarten teacher I take my role in helping him or her
develop good learning skills along with a loving and giving character very
seriously. It is in these early years that we learn to share, play, care,
forgive, and understand and we do it by interacting with our peers every
minute of every day. It is my goal to provide your son or daughter with a
nurturing, welcoming, and rewarding environment in which they can learn that
it is okay to hit a "bump in the road" and that there is always someone
there to watch over them and encourage them to keep trying. Our successes
will be many but we will all do it because of the love we feel around us.
So, you can always know that as you give that last hug of the morning to
your little one that he or she will be greeted with yet another as they
enter the door of our classroom.
