To the staff, parents and children here at Big Park Community School I am known as "Ms. Di". I have
been the Para-Educator for the Resource Department here at Big Park Community School for going on
12 1/2 years. I have been the Athletic Director here for 8 1/2 years. My 10 1/2 yr. old grandson Jose is
in the 5th grade this year with Mrs. Walter's class. Matthew is 22 months old now and is growing by
leaps and bounds! As each day goes by and the more I observe him, he is doing things exactly like his
mother did. What a handful he's going to be. What handsome boys both my grandsons are. It's
amazing how quickly time flies! There is nothing better than being a grandparent. I couldn't be more
blessed than I am. Sports has always been my passion. I played Volleyball and Softball in Jr. High &
High School as well as on adult leagues. I coached Volleyball for one year and Softball for 5 years here
at Big Park. I have always felt of the staff and students as an extension of my own family! I love my job
and the wonderful people I work with!
