We begin the year with the study of Weather.  it is a great time of
year to investigate and observe the 3 weather makers - air, water, and
sun.  We have invited the Weather Bus to Collier school in October and
hope to visit the Sweetwater Wetlands.  There we can observe first
hand the processes of the water cycle and how this important desert
resource is managed. 

You can interact with the science concepts and vocabulary you have
studied each year.  There are even activities to help you practice and
review all science concepts, K-5, taught at Collier with the FOSS
science kits.  Wow!
