I believe that learning is a life-long endeavor. With parent and teacher
support,the children will learn and grow. Encouragement and celebration of
success is a partnership with the entire community- as we journey together.
This year my personal learning focus included taking courses on Interactive
Technology,Gate Summer Institute training,21st Century Skill training,CORE
training, and Powerful Practices in Reading/writing. I enjoy music,and
completed the Level-Year Three OMA training (Opening Minds through the Arts).
Collier lessons next year include: music,performances,UA Presents
performances,art,and the Artsmobile culture units.
I enjoy singing, dancing, river rafting, and travel. Let the journey begin!
Degrees include: B.A. Music/Elementary,Secondary,and College Teaching
Credentials/ESL and Music endorsements/U of A Mentor teacher Certificate
Credentials in Arizona,California, and Texas.
Masters work in Administration & Supervison, a Masters in Adult and Con't
Education, and Doctorate in Elementary Education/Curriculum (Ph.D.)
All credentials are current Highly Qualified status
