Our mission is to educate the whole child.We believe that all children can excel at academics, and that activities and citizenship are just as important.Our students know that we have high expectations for them, and they strive to meet them.We welcome involvement from parents and the community.

The school is required to maintain information regarding sex offenders registered in our area. Concho office has a notebook with information for parents and community members. You may also check the website http://az.gov/app/sows/home.xhtml?cid=7 for current information.

Please update contact information with Susan Maddock in our front office when phone numbers change or you change emergency contacts for your students. We need the most current notification information in case of emergencies.

The AlertNow automated message system is utilized to inform you of meetings and upcoming events. The school marquee by the highway is updated with meeting and event information as well.

JULY 18, 2012 -- FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

The educational success of our students is our number one goal. In order to help realize this goal, Concho School will be implementing an enhanced educational program that will need more time to carry out. Please help your student to be successful by making sure they are ready to start school on July 18th.

SCHOOL BOARD APPROVES FY2013 CALENDAR

On April 10th the Concho Elementary School Board approved next year's school calendar.
In anticipation of meeting the new Common Core Standards, an extended calendar was developed that allows additional teaching days for students needing extra help. These intersession periods can be found before the Fall and Spring Breaks. The extended calendar will allow all our Concho students to have every opportunity to excel and meet the new benchmarks that are required by the State. We are very excited to have this opportunity to help our students succeed. The link to the FY2013 calendar is located under the “Menu and Events” link to the left of this message.

Requests 1. Please make sure that your children's personal items (Backpacks, etc.) have their name visible. This will help us identify them when they go to our lost and found. 2. Please do not send sodas or energy drinks to school with your children.
