Who am I?

Being a physical education teacher I have a natural love for the outdoors.
This love has led me to hold various jobs that allowed me to take advantage
and spend much time outside in a teaching environment. I have 10 years
experience in teaching swim lessons to all different ages from infants to
adult. 5 of those years included a range of duties such as managing city
swimming pools, managing swim schools, and being the head coach of a summer
swim league. I have taken part in after school kids programs through the city
of Gilbert and also was the assistant cross country and track coach at
Skyline high school for two years. I graduated ASU sigma cume laude in 2009
with my degree in Physical education. During my time at ASU I did two
semesters of student teaching and one semester of an internship at different
schools and work with all age group from K-12. I am very excited to be a part
of the teaching staff here at Eagleridge for my third year here and look
forward to working with your children. I am happy to be in the field that I
love and am grateful to have a job that allows me to be home with my new son
to spend time with him a few mornings a week.

Active for life.

My mission to help all students gain a love for activity. I plan to do this
through introducing them to a wide range of activities. By doing this my hope
is that they with find something that they enjoy and continue participating
in that activity outside of the physical education environment.
