Where do I pick up my child after school?

I will walk the children to the playground area for pick up.
I will always try to leave our room at 3:25. If you would
rather pick up your child outside the classroom, that would
be fine. Any children who are not picked up by 3:35ish, will
be walked to the drive through pick up area.

What supplies does my child need?

A full sized backpack is very useful to help your child carry
items home.
Our classroom could always use baby wipes, napkins, and
baggies.
Occasionally we may ask for donations when we have parties or
special activities.

When is lunch time?

Our lunch is from 11:15-11:55. Students may buy lunch for $1.75
or bring a lunch from home. If your child plans to buy lunch, the
easiest way is to purchase a lunch card. You may buy one in the
cafetereia before school begins. This helps us move through the
lunch line quickly. Your child can also buy milk only, for
$.50. After your child finishes eating, they will go outside to
the playground. There will be playground aides supervising them
during this time. Students must wear shoes with strapes around
the ankle. Sorry, no flip flops at recess. This is a safety
rule at Eagleridge.

Is there a snack time?

Yes, we will have snacks each day.

During the year I will send a Snack Bag home with your child two
or three times. Please send a snack to school, that is enough
for the whole class, the next time your child comes to school
after bringing the bag home.

Remember to try to keep the snacks healthy. If you have any
questions or concerns, please ask.

IMPORTANT: If your child has any food alergies, please make sure
that I am aware of it!!!

May I help out in the classroom?

YES! I love to have parent volunteers!
Thanks!

Can I bring treats to celebrate my child's birthday?

Yes. Please let me know ahead of time so I can plan
accordingly.
Note:
Cupcakes don't make a good birthday treat because they are very
messy and the kids generally only eat the frosting! Individually
wrapped treats or non-edible treats work great!

Should I send a water bottle with my child?
