 Fourth Quarter

• Students continue to work on weekly vocabulary. As part of the weekly vocabulary, students are required to write five compound sentences. Each sentence must contain a vocabulary word. These are due every Friday unless otherwise noted.
  

• Grammar quizzes are every other week. Students are allowed to use their grammar packets and any notes while taking the quiz. The grammar packet is available under "7th Grade Docs." If your student continues to struggle on these quizzes, it is important that he/she sees me for additional help. I am available after school Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays until 4:00.

• This quarter, the students will begin reading Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. If your child is absent, it is up to him/her to take home a copy of the book. There will be comprehension quizzes at the end of each chapter.
