Welcome! I am originally from Hershey, Pennsylvania and love chocolate! I
graduated from Penn State and moved out to Arizona in 1978. I have been
teaching Kindergartern through Third Grade for 22 years. I have a Master's
Degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Early Childhood
Education. I am also a Reading Recovery teacher. My husband,Doug,is an
architect. My son,John,goes to school part time and works in the emergency
room in the Scottsdale Healthcare system. My son, Chris is married to Lauren
and they live in San Francisco. We also have two large but loving
Labradoodles named Noodles and Macy. I enjoy traveling with my husband and
family,entertaining, any beach anywhere, reading, movies, spending time with
family and friends, and shopping!
I truly believe children live up to their expectations and I hold high
expectations for ALL children in my class because I know that all children
can learn and be successful if they believe in themselves. Our motto in
class is: If you think you can, you can!"
