In Kindergarten, the only nightly work is READING! Read with your child as
often as possible, preferably at least 15 minutes a day.
~Students will be coming home with Book Bags containing books or assignments
done that day during their reading group. A log sheet shows the skill that we
worked on that day, so you can practice at home!
~You child will also be completing books in class to keep at home. These
books
practice sight words, letters of the week, or reinforce concepts in class.
To
keep these books available for reading later, we will make a Book Box in
class.
~From time to time I will send home activities to be done as a family.
