My name is Mrs. Monae Jensen, I have taught at Madison Heights for 10 years.
My desire to teach the youngest of school children sprouted with raising my
own two daughters. Growing up in a family of teachers and care givers, I
never quite felt complete until I chose this career path.
If you have not visited an Early Elementary classroom lately, I urge you
to do so. Our classroom is always busy and there is a constant hum
(sometimes roar!)in the room as the students learn through exploration. The
children are little sponges, eager to soak up all of the interactions and
knowledge they possibly can. Everything is new, everything is a learning
experience. A Kindergartner can brighten any room and bring a smile
to anyone's face.
