I am looking forward to a great year and working with your child in the
resource setting.
I have been teaching in Special Education for many wonderful years and in the
Madison District for 27. I always wanted to choose a career around children,
so I feel I am lucky. I have taught both resource and self-contained programs
ages K-9th grades. I taught at Brighton School for Learning Disabilities and
Devereux Day School (both private schools servicing students in special
education) prior starting in Madison.
Mark and I have been married for 31 years and have a son, Ryan and a daughter,
Heather. All of us attended Arizona State University and are huge ASU
sports fans. I love sports and try to encourage my students to share any of
their sports experiences, favorite pro sports teams and of course, college
teams. Maybe, I can persuade them to think about Arizona State University!!!!
Traveling is my favorite but I also love to cook, read and enjoy scrap booking
my memories.
I hope to make a difference in my student's school experience. I believe
just because a child can't spell doesn't mean they can't write a fabulous
story.
