About The Teacher

This is my 20th year teaching students in Arizona schools. I am
originally from Crystal Lake, Illinois (small town northwest of Chicago). I
went to A.S.U. and graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary
education. A few years later, I also earned a master's degree from A.S.U.

I began my teaching career in Avondale where I taught 5th and 6th
grade. From there, I applied to Madison and taught 4th grade at Rose Lane
for six years. After that, I longed to teach in a departmentalized setting
and moved into 5th grade. I taught 5th grade for 5 years and decided to move
up and try 6th grade. This will be my third year teaching 6th grade at
Meadows.

On a personal note, I am married to Tim who is an aerospace engineer.
We have two boys named Timmy and Jeffrey. Timmy is 10 years old and Jeffrey
is 7 years old. Both of my boys attend school at Madison Heights. We also
are proud owners of two female miniature schnauzers - "Babe" and "Missy Moo."

If you have any questions or concerns about what your child is
learning in science or math. Please contact me -- email is the best way to
reach me. I appreciate your support and look forward to a positive and
enjoyable school year.
