How do I check my grade/ my student's grade?

Grades will be updated about once a week. You will receive a power school
log-in and password and you can check your student's grade on-line. If you
are coming from Simis it will be the same ID and password and if not you can
pick up this information in the office. Once you are on power school you can
click on the actual letter grade to see each of your child's assignments as
well as the grade.

How is homework graded/ collected and how much homework will be given?

In general students will have math and language arts homework
nightly. Generally social studies and science homework consists of studying
for tests/quizzes, current events, and or finishing classwork.

In my math class students will receive homework Monday-Thursday. Homework is
graded in pen on a daily basis and then either collected or sent back home.
Homework is worth 4 points each night. 4 points-all work shown, complete,
and on time, 3 points- one of those components missing, 2 points- 2 components
missing or a late assignment is half credit.
