of setting in a story. Your job tonight is to think of a place that sticks
out in your mind. This could be something as simple as your bedroom or a
location your family has traveled to. The location is up to you.
On the white paper that I provided, sketch a picture of this place. Please
make sure that all drawings are appropriate for school.
Then, on the back of the drawing or on a separate piece of paper, write a
vivid description of this setting. Make sure to make your description long
and detailed enough that the reader would be able to determine the setting
without looking at the picture. Your description should be AT LEAST 8 to 10
sentences in length and follow proper grammar and convention rules.

Language Arts- Spelling 3x each (words wrong on pretest) due Friday; Create
a personal narrative about yourself (minimum 12-15 sentences). Please make
sure to skip lines and focus on Word Choice and Voice; due tomorrow!!!
Social Studies- Finish "What the Flag Means to Me" drawing; due tomorrow.
Have parents read and sign Community Service letter and return by Friday!!!
