Welcome to Maricopa Elemetary School. We are the Diamondbacks. This is my
second year here in Maricopa. I am originally from Orange County in CA. I
have been an educator for almost twenty years. I have two children. My
youngest is starting college this fall. My passion is teaching. I love first
grade because I love teaching reading and laying the foundation for a
successful start in life. I have taught all grade levels up to sixth grade.
However, first grade is my favorite.
I have a Master's Degree in reading and classroom instruction from Biola
University. I look forward to working with your little ones and I expect
great things from them.:)
My mission is to make sure that every student in my class can read. I will
do my best to create an environment where each child feels valued and where
each child can achieve their own personal best. I can only do this with your
help. As parents you are your child's greatest asset. Their next greatest
asset is me their teacher. Together we can meet these goals and much more.
