Autism Is Treatable!
Individuals with Autism have special gifts and we celebrate their uniqueness and what they bring to our lives. However, there are many challenges children and adults face on a daily basis that can be improved by treatments and therapies.
With a combination of biomedical treatments, behavioral therapy, and educational intervention almost all children and adults with autism can improve their potential, sometimes dramatically. More research is needed to improve on what we have already learned.
What is the ZooWalk?
The 2011 Zoowalk for Autism is dedicated to raising funds for a 1-year multi-treatment study for children and adults with autism. This study will involve a combination of special vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, carnitine (to boost energy metabolism), and special diet (gluten-free, casein-free) that we believe will significantly help many individuals.
