My name is Mrs. Dyer and I am so glad to be teaching your child this year at
PEC! This will be my 4th year teaching 5th grade, and my 2nd year here at
PEC. I graduated from Arizona State University with my Bachelor's of Arts in
Elementary Education. Teaching has always been my passion and I knew I
wanted to be a teacher since I was very young. I push every student to do
their personal best and always set high expectations for all of my students.
I love expanding the students' knowledge and understanding through projects,
discussions, experiments, and much more!
I am originally from Texas and have lived all over the world, including
Turkey and Germany. I finally landed in Arizona in 1999 and absolutely love
it here. I met my husband during college and we just celebrated our 1 year
wedding anniversary this summer. In our spare time, we love to travel, camp,
ride quads, and spend time with our adorable Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier,
Dewey.
I am very excited for the school year and getting to know all of my students!
