I have been teaching for 26 years. I have taught Kindergarten for most of my
career. I am happily married to my husband Ron who now works for PEC as or
Computer Network guy!
I have a 26 year old daughter Elizabeth who lives in Alaska and is
attending college. My son William attends 7th grade here at PEC. I also have
a stepson Mike who is married and has two boys. So I am a Grandma of a 9&11
year old boys!
I taught in Scottsdale for many years, until we moved to Alaska. I worked in
education in Alaska, but after 6 cold years my family and I moved back to
Arizona. I taught for several years in Wickenburg, then we moved to Surprise
area and I taught for Dysart School District. This is my fourth year of
teaching at PEC.
PEC is more like working with family than any other place I have worked.
Ms. Huckaby is my co-teacher. She has worked here at PEC for six years
and is a wonderful and exciting person to work with. She will be assisting me
in teaching and working with your child in small group activities.
We are both looking forward to working with you and your child. It will be a
fun and exciting year of learning.
