If your child was absent during a P.E. day they do have the opportunity to
make up missed points. If your child would like a better grade in P.E. they
can also do one of the following things I have listed below to earn extra
credit. Your child will recieve 1 credit point for each activity completed.
* 30 minutes of any kind of continuous exercise (e.g. jogging in the
neighborhood, riding a bike, playing catch with parent...)
* Participating on a sports team outside of school
* Writing a nutrition log for 2 days (logging each healthy meal they ate for
the day e.g. breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, and of course must be
nutritious)
* Reading a current event that has to do with sports, fitness, or nutrition
and writing a one page summary of that article.
