The Country Expo and Event is an opportunity for the students to experience
other countries and cultures. All 7th grade students that participate will
get our Country Expo t-shirt that has all student names on the back. They
will also get the opportunity to sample foods from other cultures, such as
Kim chi from Korea, Brie from France, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Hummus from
Greece and so much more! We wrap up our cultural experience with a comparison
of some aspects of the other cultures and our own. I have had a lot of
students in the past visit other countries because of this project. On Monday
and Tuesday- The students will display their boards and information to the
entire school. Then on Wednesday we will bring the cultural foods to them. I
hope this explains the Country Expo!
