I would like to welcome all of my students and families to an exciting new
year at PEC!
I first started at PEC in a "parent role" as three of our four girls were
attending PEC. Currently, our oldest has made her 'own' home in Surprise,
one will be graduating from high school and the other two are still attending
PEC. This will be my sixth year teaching third grade at PEC which I truly
enjoy.
My husband and I will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary this
February, however, I try not to say the 'exact' years we've been married as
some of my students still think I'm in my 30's (Ha! Ha!). We have been
blessed to have four girls. I love to sing at church along with outdoor
activities such as camping, riding a quad and sitting by the fire with our
family.
As a teacher I feel it is important to not only teach academics but, also
life skills to be used both in and out of the classroom. I feel it is
important to provide a positive environment for all students to learn.
Again, I am excited to have your child in my classroom and look forward to
meeting each of you.
